Marriage is a life-long commitment between two people who promise their love and faithfulness to each other and ask for God’s help and guidance in their relationship during a wedding ceremony.

The assurance of God’s love, adoption, forgiveness of sins, call to new life, and hope of everlasting salvation is celebrated as a sacramental rite within the worship of the congregation.

The church celebrates the end of a person’s life on earth and their continued life in God’s eternal paradise with a funeral or a later memorial service during which the promises of baptism are re-affirmed and our brother or sister in Christ is entrusted to God’s never-ending care.
